I consistently work with individuals and groups to create compelling designs that best suit the goals of their business, organization, or personal projects. Ranging from social media designs for a weekly podcast to letterhead design and grant applications, I have developed a wide range of skills that I continue to expand on.
I design digital and print flyers, manuals, documents, and program pamphlets that are cohesive and visually appealing. I have assisted in producing fundraising campaign videos and a RBAC podcast. The content for the RBAC website and social media clearly convey information that is needed by the hundreds of patrons that visit the Center each day. In addition, I assist in writing grants, strengthening stewardship with donors, organizing development strategies, and office management.
Initially hired to design this local Pasadena tutor’s website, I have expanded to designing and planning out teaching resources and writing packets for her students. I design social media posts that allow her to interact with parents and their children to create positive relationships. In addition, I tutor a handful of elementary grade students in writing, reading, and design skills.

I worked in a team of three copy editors to read over and edit pieces written by students for Flux Magazine. In addition, I individually wrote and reported on the passing of Tom Wheeler, a respected professor, journalist, and musician, for the 25th issue of Flux Magazine at the University of Oregon.
I worked in a team of five to create Coconut Bliss’s distribution pamphlet. The pamphlet was written to tell the story of the second stage of the company. I worked closely with strategists and a designer to create a cohesive final product for this local company.
I gained experience writing over a hundred concise, clear news briefs that would appeal and pertain to specific coverage areas. I developed stronger research skills as well as improved my overall ability to write and edit quickly under strict time deadlines.
I was one of the two student commencement speakers for the School of Journalism and Communication’s graduating class of over 600 students. I was asked to read the article I wrote for Flux Magazine, giving me the opportunity to speak and represent FLUX in front of over 4,000 people.
